Final Presentation

So, my final presentation has been completed. The Eustress was intense but, I pulled through. It was nerve racking to perform my song in front of the class, however I think it was good experience for me. I will be performing in a sense to my classroom in the future. I have to be confident in what I am presenting and I think that is a skill I have yet to get used to. Nonetheless, I had a wonderful time learning to play the harmonica, it was hard, but it takes time to get it right. I will continue to practice in hopes to get better at this skill, and maybe even right more music. I am really appreciative of this experience because it made me grow as a musician, a teacher, and as a person!

postponed performance

Today, I was supposed to perform my final project, however my throat is killing me and i will not be able to perform the best of my ability. My last journal entry was going to be a reflection on how the performance went, overcoming my nerves etc. I will be going next Friday so I will do a reflection then. Denise said that I could do it just for her during the week, but I thought that was kind of unfair to those who are performing in front of the class. So I will do the same. Once I feel a little bit better I will tune up my guitar and begin to tweek some things that I may have lost, while being unable to play. Also, this weekend I will be making a tutorial video on how to play the harmonica for my Ecmp 355 class. This will be explaining the process it takes to learn the harmonica. I think it will be a nice conclusion to this project.

boy oh boy

I have fallen ill and have not been able to practice the harmonica. I have to get blood taken today to see what Ive got. This is why I have not been in school and this is also why I am extremly worried for Friday's presentation. I do not know if I will be able to do my best since I have felt too awful to practice, and this feeling may continue till Friday. Hopefully, I will be able to persevere and since and play for the class, like I had hoped. If not, I wonder if I will be able to present the next class. Either way, school is stressin me out, and that aint no remedy to fixin' a cold.

Hello Harmonica

So here it begins the journey of my harmonica and I. I have picked up a book and harmonica from my local music store along with the attatchment so I can play guitar simultaneously with my harmonica. It is not as easy as it looks, but practice makes perfect, hopefully. I will write about my progress, with my music, as well as my final project for ECMP on How-To Play the Harmonica. Thats all for now, I better get playin'.
